Homemade Cheesy Garlic Bread

Because Everyone Loves Garlic & Cheese
This simple and easy garlic bread recipe brings me back to the glory days of frozen Texas toast next to a pile of my mom’s spaghetti, only perfected and elevated! I write recipes for garlic lovers, it’s a simple fact. You will fall in love with this classic recipe, between the ooey-gooey mozzarella cheese and the crispy exterior of the baguette.
The Baguette: Store-Bought vs. Homemade
You know me, I am always up for doing things the long way. A homemade baguette (sourdough OR yeasted) will bring this garlic bread to the next level, but the beauty is this – You can use a store-bought baguette if you are in a pinch, making it perfect even for busy nights.
Compound Butter
The magic of this recipe is found in the compound butter: butter, LOTS of garlic, fresh herbs, and seasonings. It may feel like a lot of butter when you are spreading it over the baguette, but trust me. There is no such thing as too much butter!

How to Serve This
- As a side to your favorite pasta dish
- On pizza night with a fresh Caesar salad
- As an appetizer for your next get-together
- Cut into smaller pieces for a charcuterie spread
