Ingredients

  • 1 Baguette (yeasted or sourdough)
  • 2 sticks Butter (room temperature)
  • 1 Bulb of Garlic (+/- 8 - peeled and finely minced)
  • cup Ricotta Cheese
  • ½ cup Fresh Parsley (finely chopped)
  • 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Cut the baguette (yeasted or sourdough) in half lengthwise.
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, add the butter, finely minced garlic, ricotta, most of the parsley (reserve a bit for garnishing after baking), garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth, and then spread a thick layer of the compound butter over each piece of the baguette.
  3. Top the baguettes with the mozzarella cheese. Bake for 12 minutes, then broil on high for 2-3 minutes (until the cheese becomes golden brown).
  4. Sprinkle with the remaining parsley, and serve warm. Enjoy!
