Sourdough Big Mac Sliders

These sourdough Big Mac sliders are warm, cozy, and packed with classic flavors. Made with soft sourdough rolls, seasoned beef, and a creamy sauce, they are perfect for sharing.

Ingredients

Sourdough Rolls

  • 12 Sourdough Brioche Rolls (I use this dough recipe, dividing into 12 even rolls after bulk fermentation instead of a loaf shape. Alternatively, you can easily use store-bought buns!)

Meat Filling

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1/2 Onion (diced)
  • Salt to Taste

Sauce

  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Ketchup
  • 1/4 cup Mustard
  • 3 tbsp Pickle Juice
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 2 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Salt

Toppings

  • 8 Slices of American Cheese
  • 1/2 Head of Iceberg Lettuce (chopped)
  • Pickles
  • 3 tbsp Melted Butter
  • Sesame Seeds

Instructions

  1. Prepare your sauce by mixing all of the sauce ingredients together in a small bowl. Set aside.
  2. Dice your onion. Add the ground beef and onion into a hot pan over medium heat. Season to taste with salt, and allow the meat to fully brown, roughly 6-8 minutes.
  3. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  4. Cut your rolls in half. Set the top half of the rolls aside to use later. Spread half of the Big Mac sauce on the bottom half of the buns. Top with the browned meat, then place one pickle on each roll. Top with the american cheese. Bake for 15 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  5. After removing the sliders from the oven, spread the remaining sauce on the top half of the rolls. Add the shredded iceberg lettuce on top of the melted cheese and place the top half of the buns on the sliders. Brush with melted butter and sesame seeds.
  6. Bake for an additional 5 minutes. Serve warm!
