Homemade Granola

Homemade Granola made with rolled oats, toasted almonds, coconut flakes, and chia seeds, sweetened naturally with honey and maple syrup. Five minutes of prep, almost no cleanup, and a crunch that store-bought granola can't touch. Customize it with your favorite mix-ins and never buy a bag again.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Rolled Oats
  • 1 cup Almond Slices
  • 1 cup Unsweetened Coconut Flakes
  • ½ cup Chia Seedds
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 4 tbsp Melted Butter
  • cup Honey
  • cup Maple Syrup
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla Bean Paste (or extract)
  • Optional: Dried fruit, chocolate chips, etc (to be added AFTER baking)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F. Add the oats, almonds, coconut, chia seeds, and salt to a large bowl.
  2. In a small bowl, melt the butter. Then, add the honey, maple syrup, and vanilla bean paste to the butter and whisk until smooth.
  3. Pour the liquid over the dry ingredients, and stir until evenly coated.
  4. Bake for 45-60 minutes, stirring once or twice during baking to ensure everything gets evenly crisp. After baking and cooling, add any additional toppings of your choice, like dried fruit or chocolate chips. Story in an airtight container.
